Garden Tuition

Improve your own plant skills & knowledge with tailor-made tuition and guidance in your own garden. From novice to enthusiasts’ masterclasses, I can offer you a safe pair of horticultural hands for you to garden happily and with confidence.

I’ll cover most of the jobs that need to be done during gardening year.   There are obvious high points – spring and autumn clear up, rose pruning – miss these and plants will sulk .

There are other important topics such as lawn care, pests and disease control, choice of plants (eg spring display, autumn colour, fireworks for the winter months, saving water in drought) or a seasonal mix of all of these.

The timing of practical workshops, master-classes, or tuition sessions can be totally flexible, and normally held in a student’s own garden.   But, if the weather is too wet, I have sufficient material for a fun filled, info packed session around the kitchen table.

There’s also a chance to use emails for added support between tuition sessions.
